Maven

Maven is an IT company that designs and develops custom programs for the public and private sectors. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

The natural audience is companies that need a site that works and ranks. Alongside the main category they mention Web Design and Web Development. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Maven is based in Leesburg, Virginia. More on mavencis.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
