PackageX

PackageX is a web-based software company that helps companies integrate brand management and packaging services. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Packaging Services, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

PackageX is based in Encino, California. Their site is packagex.com.
