Versity Software

Versity Software is a data archiving company that offers data management solutions for tiered storage environments and preservation. The job it does: moving data between systems on a schedule without hand-built scripts.

It makes the most sense for data and ops teams. They also list Data Management, Data Storage and Publishing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Versity Software is based in San Francisco, California. Their site is versity.com.

Things worth asking about: connector coverage, sync frequency, and row-based pricing. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Versity Software, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
