PaintPoker

PaintPoker is a platform that allows you to share original drawings with other users. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Internet of Things, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a large company team themselves (501 to 1,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Bigger vendor, more process. Budget time for procurement.

PaintPoker is based in Los Angeles, California and founded in 2000. Their site is paintpoker.deviantart.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
