Vigilance

Vigilance provides web and app development services to organizations that allow emergency notification services. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. Related areas on their profile: Mobile Apps and Security. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Vigilance is based in Saco, Maine and founded in 2014. Their site is vigilancesoftware.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Vigilance, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
