Current

Current is a provider of broadcast productions, digital gaming and emergent technology solutions. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Current is based in Detroit, Michigan and around since 2015. Their site is hirecurrent.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Current, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
