dFuzion

dFuzion, Inc. offers consulting services as a certified DBE in Northern Virginia. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Consulting, Intelligent Systems and Software Engineering. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

dFuzion is based in Ashburn, Virginia. Their site is dfuzion.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
