Back4app

Your Application's Backend, Simplified. Launch your backend in minutes with no infrastructure hassles. That is the short version of Back4app. Put simply, it is about running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

It makes the most sense for developers and businesses of every size. Alongside the main category they mention Cloud Infrastructure, Developer Platform, Developer Tools and PaaS. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Back4app is based in Sunnyvale, California. More on back4app.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
