MobileNation

Mobile app IDE and hosted platform. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Android, iOS, Mobile and PaaS, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

MobileNation is based in San Francisco, California. More on mobilenationhq.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with MobileNation, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
