Fresh Dope Games

Fresh Dope Games develops hip-hop inspired mobile games, including the Rap Quest series for iOS and Android. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Online Games and Video Games. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Fresh Dope Games is based in Los Angeles, California. Their site is freshdopegames.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Fresh Dope Games, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
