Wiser

Wiser is an online hub and daily e-mail service that enables users to find latest news about an interested sector, market, or project. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list News, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized company team themselves (201 to 500 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Wiser is based in New York, New York and founded in 2011. Their site is wyser-search.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
