MAPIR

MAPIR provides modular camera solutions for customers who need a compact and powerful tool at an affordable price. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Agriculture, AgTech, Drones, Farming and Forestry. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

MAPIR is based in San Diego, California. You can read more at mapir.camera.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
