SurveyAct

SurveyAct is a free platform for producing a wide range of surveys for businesses, academics, and even individuals. Put simply, it is about solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. They also list Education and Online Portals, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

SurveyAct is based in Cedarhurst, New York and founded in 2007. More on surveyact.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with SurveyAct, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
