OneHat Technologies

OneHat Technologies is an IT firm that provides software development, hosting, consulting, and web design services. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Software Engineering and Web Design. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

OneHat Technologies is based in Peoria, Illinois. Their site is onehat.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
