GovWebworks

GovWebworks is a web development agencies company. Experienced govtech company developing software for workforce enablement, children and families, social assistance and citizen enablement. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

It makes the most sense for companies that need a site that works and ranks. Related areas on their profile: GovTech and Web Development. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

GovWebworks is based in Portland, Maine. Their site is govwebworks.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
