StoneFly

StoneFly, Inc. is one of the innovators of cost-effective full-featured storage appliances since 1996. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. They also list Cloud Computing, Cloud Data Services, Cloud Storage, Consulting and Cyber Security, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

StoneFly is based in Castro Valley, California and around since 1996. Their site is stonefly.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with StoneFly, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
