INSCI Corporation

Here is INSCI Corporation in plain terms. A Westborough, Mass.-based provider of enterprise content management solutions. The job it does: writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

It makes the most sense for teams that produce a lot of documents. They also list Content, Document Management and E-Commerce, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

INSCI Corporation is based in Westborough, Massachusetts. Their site is insci.com.

Things worth asking about: offline access, permissions, and export formats. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
