BitPix

BitPix is a cloud-based photoshoot management workflow software for the creation of digital photography and videography. In practice that means running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

It makes the most sense for developers and businesses of every size. They also list Cloud Computing, Photography and Video, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

BitPix is based in New York, New York. Their site is bitpixdigital.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
