Vortex

Vortex is a strategic IT firm that offers business continuity, IT consulting, and data backup services. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. Related areas on their profile: Consulting and Data Management. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Vortex is based in Washington, District of Columbia. Their site is vortexmsp.com.

Before you commit, look at response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Vortex, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
