Labeling Solutions

Labeling Solutions provides labeling, tagging, and barcoding solutions for the electronics, retail, and distribution industries. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Printing and Wholesale. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Labeling Solutions is based in South Portland, Maine. Their site is labelingsolutions.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
