Inktank

Inktank provides an open source distributed storage system that decreases storage costs and increases operational flexibility. The job it does: running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

Who is it for? Mostly developers and businesses of every size. Related areas on their profile: Cloud Computing, Open Source and Web Hosting. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Inktank is based in San Francisco, California and founded in 2012. Their site is inktank.com.
