Tactical Information Systems

Hosted biometric matching services. That is the short version of Tactical Information Systems. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Cloud Computing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Tactical Information Systems is based in Austin, Texas and around since 2009. More on tacticalinfosys.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Tactical Information Systems, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
