Cloudsyte

Cloudsyte is a civic intelligence platform that helps cities and counties manage data on energy, water, waste, and climate resilience. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: CivicTech, GovTech, GreenTech and Sustainability. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Cloudsyte is based in Boca Raton, Florida. Their site is cloudsyte.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
