Fonative

Fonative is a communication company that helps to connect with customers through voice and text without maintaining the server. The job it does: running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

The natural audience is developers and businesses of every size. They also list Cloud Computing, SMS, Telecommunications and VoIP, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Fonative is based in Lowell, Massachusetts and founded in 1992. Their site is fonative.com.

Before you commit, look at pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
