BeON Home

BeON Home uses the power and ubiquity of the light socket to provide safety and security in the home. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. Related areas on their profile: Consumer Electronics, Elder Care, Hardware, Security and Sensor. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

BeON Home is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and around since 2013. Their site is beonhome.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
