Hosted BDR

Hosted BDR is a computer and software development firm that focuses on cloud data protection, data integration, and cloud-based solutions. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. Alongside the main category they mention Cloud Computing, Cloud Data Services, Cloud Management and Cloud Security. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Hosted BDR is based in Bloomington, Illinois. Their site is hostedbdr.com.

Our checklist for this category: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
