MAPPS

MAPPS is the only national association exclusively comprised of private firms in the remote sensing, spatial data. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Remote Sensing. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

MAPPS is based in Reston, Virginia. Their site is mapps.org.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

Nobody has reviewed MAPPS on Revaw yet. If you use it, your rating goes first, and it takes about twenty seconds.
