RenderWaves

RenderWaves offers solutions in animation, CGI, VFX, software development and visual effects for the gaming industry. The job it does: solving a specific business problem with software.

The natural audience is teams in its space. Alongside the main category they mention Animation, Gaming and Graphic Design. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

RenderWaves is based in San Francisco, California. Their site is renderwaves.com.

Before you commit, look at pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with RenderWaves, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
