Lab Escape

Lab Escape sells heat map visual data discovery software that gives managers deep visibility into their data, within a business context. In practice that means building shareable charts and KPI boards.

Who is it for? Mostly teams that report to someone. They also list Data Visualization, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Lab Escape is based in Asheville, North Carolina. Their site is labescape.com.

Things worth asking about: live data refresh, embedding, and sharing permissions. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
