BuilderComs

Slack and Dropbox had a baby for the construction industry. That is the short version of BuilderComs. In practice that means replacing internal email with channels and direct messages.

The natural audience is every team. Alongside the main category they mention Construction, Document Management, Messaging, Photo Sharing and Unified Communications. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

BuilderComs is based in Emerald Isle, North Carolina and around since 2021. More on buildercoms.com.

Things worth asking about: search, retention policies, and external guest access. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with BuilderComs, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
