Byte & Word

Byte & Word offers software development services, including embedded systems and cloud-based solutions. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. They also list 3D Technology, Consulting, Embedded Systems and Graphic Design, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Byte & Word is based in Merritt Island, Florida. Their site is byteandword.com.

Our checklist for this category: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Byte & Word, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
