Modus Technologies

Modus Technologies offers POS systems, document scanning, and surveillance solutions. Put simply, it is about writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

Who is it for? Mostly teams that produce a lot of documents. Related areas on their profile: Document Management and Point of Sale. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Modus Technologies is based in Rosemont, West Virginia. More on modustech.com.

Things worth asking about: offline access, permissions, and export formats. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
