PingThings is a venture-backed software company, brings best-of-breed big-data software and data science techniques to the utility industry. The job it does: moving data between systems on a schedule without hand-built scripts.

Who is it for? Mostly data and ops teams. They also list Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Energy and Energy Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.
