Vēmos

Vēmos is a payments and analytics company for the hospitality industry, connecting venues, brands and consumers in a single platform. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Analytics, E-Commerce, Food and Beverage, Hospitality and Mobile Apps. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Vēmos is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and around since 2018. More on vemos.io.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
