Waya Energy

Waya Energy provides geospatial planning, software, off-grid design, consulting, and engineering services to the sustainable energy sector. The job it does: managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. Related areas on their profile: Consulting, Energy and Renewable Energy. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Waya Energy is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Their site is waya-energy.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
