Architexa provides a tool suit to help developers understand and document Java code bases within the Eclipse IDE. In practice that means writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

It makes the most sense for teams that produce a lot of documents. They also list Developer Platform and Document Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.
