Lightning Workgroup

Lightning Workgroup provides website design and development, mobile app development, and custom software development services. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Mobile Apps, Web Design and Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Lightning Workgroup is based in Howell, Michigan. Their site is lightningworkgroup.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Lightning Workgroup, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
