Arikkan

Arikkan is an IT company that provides project management, software development and enterprise solutions to state and local governments. The job it does: planning work, assigning owners and seeing what is late.

The natural audience is teams of any size with deadlines. They also list Project Management and Software Engineering, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Arikkan is based in Vancouver, Washington. More on arikkan.com.

Things worth asking about: views like boards and Gantt, dependencies, and guest access. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
