Aurostar

Aurostar is an IT Solution provider for systems, mobility, server, and storage. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. They also list Cloud Computing, Consulting, Network Security and Procurement, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Aurostar is based in Fremont, California and around since 2002. More on aurostar.net.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Aurostar, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
