Scandia

Scandia will help you take your bring-and-mortar, off-line , or already established Web based business, to new technology heights. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

It makes the most sense for companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Consulting, Content, Web Design and Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Scandia is based in Brooklyn, Connecticut and founded in 2006. More on myscandia.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Scandia, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
