eTrans Systems

eTrans Systems specializes in the development of secure connected vehicle systems for the software development life-cycle. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Autonomous Vehicles, Internet of Things, Software Engineering and Transportation. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

eTrans Systems is based in Fairfax, Virginia. You can read more at etranssystems.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
