ExpertGPS

ExpertGPS has long been the secret tool used by so many successful geocachers. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: GPS. As a mid-sized company team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

ExpertGPS is based in Stow, Massachusetts. Their site is expertgps.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with ExpertGPS, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
