Gopher Data

Gopher Data Inc. offers data management, processing, analytics, visualization tools, and custom database development for Microsoft Access. Put simply, it is about storing and querying application data reliably.

Who is it for? Mostly developers and data teams. Related areas on their profile: Analytics, Consulting and Database. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Gopher Data is based in Edina, Missouri. Their site is gopherdata.com.

Things worth asking about: managed options, backups, and scaling costs. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Gopher Data, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
