Hootsuite develops a platform for managing social media programs across multiple social networks. Put simply, it is about scheduling posts, replying to comments and reporting across networks.

Who is it for? Mostly social and community managers. They also list Digital Marketing, Social Media Management and Social Media Marketing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a large product team themselves (1,001 to 5,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.
