GIG

Here is GIG in plain terms. Platform allows drivers to work independently with passengers bypassing taxi companies and Brendan. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: Mobile Apps, Rental, Ride Sharing and Transportation. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

GIG is based in Novato, California and around since 2015. You can read more at gig.taxi.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
