Pentan

Pentan is a web development company that offers custom websites and custom software solutions. The job it does: handling IT tickets, assets and changes in an organized way.

It makes the most sense for IT departments. They also list IT Infrastructure and Web Development, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Pentan is based in Chantilly, Virginia. You can read more at pentanconsulting.com.

Before you commit, look at self-service portal, asset tracking, and automation. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
