Zix Corporation

Zix Corporation offers security software that specializes in email encryption, email data loss prevention, and mobile applications. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. They also list Email, Management Information Systems and Security, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

Zix Corporation is based in Dallas, Texas and around since 1988. Their site is zix.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Zix Corporation, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
