Yik Yak

Yik Yak is a location-based social network that helps people discover their local community,. Put simply, it is about scheduling posts, replying to comments and reporting across networks.

It makes the most sense for social and community managers. They also list Social Media and Social Network, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Yik Yak is based in Nashville, Tennessee and founded in 2013. You can read more at yikyak.com.

Things worth asking about: which networks are supported and whether approvals are built in. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Yik Yak, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
