XiO

XiO offers secure cloud-based water control systems. The job it does: connecting machines, sensors and robots to software that controls or monitors them.

Who is it for? Mostly manufacturers and operators. Related areas on their profile: Hardware and Industrial Automation. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

XiO is based in San Rafael, California and around since 2009. More on xiowatersystems.com.

Our checklist for this category: hardware compatibility, uptime, and support. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with XiO, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
