XCENT

XCENT develops and delivers an extensive range of software solutions and services to help businesses enable commerce and evolve. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Database, E-Commerce and Software Engineering. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

XCENT is based in Levittown, Pennsylvania and founded in 1990. You can read more at xcent.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
